Doves are winning the war on Iran

Suddenly the peaceniks have taken control of Washington. That's the obvious conclusion to be reached from the publication of the latest National Intelligence Estimate on Iran that makes the surprise conclusion that the Iranians stopped their attempts to build an atom bomb four years ago.

But hang on a minute? Aren't these the same Iranians who have insisted all along that they are only interested in developing nuclear power, not nuclear weapons? And isn't this the same country that deliberately concealed the development of its vast Natanz uranium enrichment facility from the outside world, inspite of its obligations under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) to make a full and detailed disclosure on all aspects of its nuclear programme?
